Reproduced from the original schematics of The House of Fabergé, these candle holders were almost certainly used aboard the royal yacht Standart, a great favorite of Tsar Nicholas II and the royal family. They spent considerable time on board the Standart and the yacht's fittings were as elegant as those of any of the royal palaces.

Here the dolphin is used as the predominant support of the candle, the holder itself resting on the curved tail of the dolphin, the whole on a fluted column pierced by a triton. Made of Sterling Silver, hallmarked and signed Fabergé.
