Alongside of her is a flower filled vase, the tassels from the cushion she sits on hang below her and she is framed by the window drapery. A lattice work engraving covers the balance of the egg with an eight-pointed star at the crown. The flat base bears the name Fabergé and the edition number of the egg. The egg is seated in the gold Palace Egg Holder which combines 24 karat gold plating with enamel guilloché, handset Austrian crystals which rim the cup and divide the guilloché panels adding stature and vibrancy to the whole.
