The Egg itself is covered with clover leaves, modeled after The Imperial Clover Egg. Inside, making his way across the plinth is a crystal studded turtle with emerald eyes. The plinth and the turtle are 24 karat gold plated sterling silver and the clasp is the Romanov Double Eagle.
