The Egg is 5/8ths of an inch
in size and hangs from a delicate 24 karat
gold plated 18 inch chain. Original made by
Workmaster Alfred Thielemann between 1880 and
1910. The Egg is done in a basket weave enamel
guilloché pattern; the upper third of
it in an exquisite shade of coral and the lower
portion in a vibrant emerald green, the two
colors separated by a design worked in crystals.
For sheer beautiy it is one of the loveliest
of the Egg ornaments.
