The Coronation Coach Egg Box. This egg is a porcelain version of the one given by Nicholas II to Alexandra on the first Easter after their coronation. The egg is pale yellow with a laurel leaf gold trellis surrounding a sunburst pattern. At the intersection of each trellis segment there is an Imperial Double Eagle.

Inside the box is the Coronation Coach sitting on a platform of 24 karat gold plated sterling silver, the coach being sterling with gold plating as well. The coach is studded with faux rubies on the doors, the riding box and the footman's seat. A tiny arm holds the lid aloft allowing the coach to be displayed. The clasp is the Imperial Double Eagle.
