One of a series of frames done by Peter Carl Faberge in this unusual shape. Rimmed in corded gold with rosettes of gold at the corners, the matte is blue enamel guilloché in an interesting pebble pattern that creates variations in the color as the light reflects off its surface. The inner frame rests on a leafy wreath with a gold ribbon bow surmounting it. This semi circular frame is 3 inches high by 6 inches at the base. The interior frame is 1.25 by 1.75 inches.
