The American Freedom Egg Box. This box was designed as a tribute to America and all Americans by The World of Fabergé. The exterior of the Egg is midnight blue and it is incised with gold stars. The box opens to reveal a 24 karat gold plated interior with the surprise being a pair of American Flags with crossed staves. The clasp on this piece is an heraldic shield.

For purposes of display there is a tiny gold rod that holds the lid in place so the interior is easily shown. Each box is individually impressed with the box number and the name Fabergé on the gold interior of the box. The box pictured is number 61 of a limited edition. The Egg is 3 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. This Egg comes to you in a handsome moiré lined case with documentation.
