The Egg is 5/8ths of an inch in size and hangs from a delicate 24 karat gold plated 18 inch chain. It is done in a broken line guilloché pattern covered with a brilliant red translucent enamel and the black dots that distinguish a Ladybug. The apex of the Egg is capped in black and has two crystals denoting the eyes of the Ladybug. The Ladybug Egg differs from most of the other Pendant Eggs in that it has a ridged gold back.

The Limoges Porcelain case, a perfect 2 inch square, is encrusted in 24 karat gold enamel and worked in a sunburst originating from the lower left corner of the box. Superimposed upon the sunburst a four leaf clover set with a large ruby colored cabochon. The clasp, a Romanov Double Headed Eagle. The case carries the mark Fabergé Limoges.
