Three and half inches tall, this Egg contains a mother of pearl faced Swiss movement clock that springs up when the Egg is opened and retracts when closed. The Egg itself is hand carved of onyx and all metal work is gold plated. The pendant at the apex of the Egg is a variation of a crown and the base is a column surrounded by a wreath studded with three cabachon agates which displays the same design as those encircling both halves of the Egg.
