Limoges porcelain encrusted in gold; the simple elegance of this footed box mimes the chasing of a solid gold presentation box made long ago by the House of Fabergé. It is painted in a sunburst effect that stems from a clover leaf set with a ruby cabochon stone. The box opens to a burnished gold interior inscribed by hand wiht the words  "My cherished friend." The box, with this sentiment, is ours alone. The Romanov Double Headed Eagle is the clasp.
