A very simple easel frame with top, bottom and the easel itself all in sterling silver. Crowning the frame is a sterling Silver Romanov Double Eagle in a Laurel Wreath. The glass has a quarter of an inch bevel on all four sides and the matting is red velveteen, as is the backing. The whole sits on sterling silver ball feet. Allowing for the bevel edge of the glass, the frame will hold a vertical photograph 4.25 by 6.50 inches. 'Simply Elegant' describes it perfectly.
