For the dedicated Fabergé collector, membership in the Society brings Eggs to you that are unavailable to any but members. Each year the Society selects several of the Imperial Eggs and reproduces them in miniature. They are 2.5 inches in size and are almost exact reproductions of the original Eggs. To say they are exquisite is an understatement. The detail that they are able to achieve in these 2.5 inch Eggs is beyond anything you will have seen before.
Additionally, the Membership brings you a hand cut Petit Crystal Egg as a gift. That Egg has a value of $112.90 so the membership is quite a good value for you. In any case, the Eggs are so beautiful, so exquisite, that just to own them will be a most pleasurable and satisfying experience. They really cover two situations: pockets that are insufficient for the full size Eggs and space that is insufficient to display the full size Eggs. And one other thing: in my opinion they are simply beautiful, in some ways more beautiful than the large Eggs. Because they are small they are subdued in their opulence.
One further thought occurs to me: these are a wonderful way to introduce a teenager to these remarkable works of art. Young people receive so little education in the arts today, this would be a wonderful way to give them exposure to culture and history at the same time.
