The Saint Petersburg Surprise Collection

Inspired by the Imperial Eggs of the Tsars, each Egg takes a major facet of a particular Imperial Egg and displays it as the surprise inside. The Eggs, of delicately hand cut crystal, have four "windows" enabling the surprise to be seen even before opening the Egg. Delicate streamers of engraved laurel leaves separate the "windows." The Eggs sit on a pedestal of gold metal with a punch work design that replicates the "windows" theme. Crowning each Egg is a gold plated metal dome reminiscent of the "Onion Domes" so frequently seen in Russian architecture.
