Ornaments as such were not something
specifically created for the Imperial family
for Christmas. Their major holiday observance
was, of course, Easter. But they did use miniature
frames for the Christmas holidays, often times
as small gifts and always with photographs
of members of the royal family displayed in
them. With this in mind Fabergé has
created miniature variations of many of the
larger Picture Frames, Imperial Eggs and such.
They have also added a group of new Bookmarks that would make marvelous Christmas gifts,
and a selection of smaller Letter
Openers that
feature the Imperial Eggs. These last two are
less costly items to permit Christmas giving
of Faberge to all of the special names on your
Christmas list.
